Planning on a chopping marathon? Keep your prep uninterrupted with a spare battery. The battery pack is compatible with the C-200 and is rechargeable with any USB-C charger (not included).
"The beauty of an ultrasonic blade like this is that it can handle everything your old cutlery is meant for, but with the touch of a button, it delivers sharpness unlike anything you've experienced before."
"While Heimendinger’s knife still features a great piece of sharp Japanese san mai AUS-10 steel, it’s the handle that does the heavy lifting, with electronics that produce more than 40,000 vibrations per second, making the knife behave sharper than it physically is."
"The Seattle Ultrasonics C-200 chef's knife is an ultra-advanced piece of equipment for at-home chefs to incorporate into their preparation routine that will greatly reduce their effort, while also increasing their cutting capabilities."
"Seattle Ultrasonics has designed the world's first ultrasonic chef's knife for home cooks, dubbed the C–200. …despite only being announced this week, the knife has already garnered huge attention on social media."
When the battery is low, the knife will play an audible tone and flash lights when you turn it on. To check the battery level, remove and re-insert the battery into the knife. When it boots up, the indicator kits will display the battery level as percentage of the full circle. To recharge the battery, remove it and connect it to a USB-C power supply as shown. The lights will turn off when charging is complete. If you have a Wireless Charging Tile, keep the battery inserted and place the knife on the Charging Tile. A full battery recharge takes about an hour.
Is the battery removable?
Yes, the C-200's battery is user-removable. With the knife off and pointed away from you, grip the handle firmly with one hand while pulling the battery pack straight out to remove it.
Why wasn't a USB-C charging cable included?
We decided not to include a USB-C cable in the package because we know most customers already have a drawer full of those cables. It helps reduce waste and keeps electronics out of landfills. The knife can be charged with any standard USB-C cable and charger you already own, and if you have the Wireless Charging Tile, you won't be plugging in a cable often anyway.
