  • A wonderful addition to my kitchen

My chef's knife is wonderful to use, the ease of cutting and the accuracy really is a game changer. At first the knife seemed a little heavier but it is balanced very well for my small hand. I'm really enjoying this knife and it's been my "go to knife" for cooking. Just waiting for my impulse induction cooktop to arrive and I'll be very happy to cook.

  • First test

First test...how will it do cutting a fresh loaf of sourdough with a solid, hard crust? It does, like butter. Hard to believe how well it cuts. Love it.

  • It works

I was worried the handle would be awkward but the knife feels very good in a pinch grip. The effect is variable between foods and does help in all cases some less than others.

  • Amazing knife!!

I like it a lot. It looks beautiful and works as expected. The blade itself arrived razor shaft and so far is maintaining its edge well. I do love the mirror finish. My only wish would be for it to have a movement sensor and not a button. I personally find it a bit awkward to keep the button pressed while cutting, particularly as the handle is quite thick. It would probably require a bigger battery and more parts (and expense), but I would definitely be interested in another sonic knife in the future if a reliable movement sensor was able to be incorporated without adding thickness to the handle.
